This past weekend was come-to-Columbus day weekend for Maddie. So far so good although it all feels a bit like the making-French-toast scene in Kramer vs. Kramer to me still, she and I figuring out our new routine. This morning we left to go to day care/work and when we opened the door there were two toys a neighbor had left for her. She was thrilled. Ohio might be flat as could be and ground zero of the stolen 2004 election, but it does have nice nice people. |
