Helen Conway, my dear G'ma and wonderful pal. http://www.nyjnews.com/obits/ My grandma had a bit of a macabre sense of humor-- she was a nurse so maybe it comes with the territory (she loved, for example, to tell the story of how she and my grandfather first met under a corpse!) Anyway, obituaries also could make her giggle and when I was little (loving to hear her laugh) I'd read them to her over breakfast in the morning in the most melodramatic way possible. That's how I'm reading this one now. |
