Here I am in Singapore, en route to Sri Lanka! When I booked the ticket, I didn't like the sounds of the Singapore layover since it was long and in the middle of the night (1 am-8 am) so it wouldn't make sense to leave the airport. But now that I'm here, it's great. First of all, no one is around so it feels like I have the whole darn airport to myself. Then there is my usual duty-free activity of trying on all the fancy good-smelling moisturizing creams. Then there is the free internet that I'm making use of right now. But best of all, there is this great gym/shower facility that I just got out of-- I took the longest, most relaxing shower ever. Jet lag, be gone! |
