Good news came in threes this week for those near & dear to me: Tom got a big fiction-writing grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts (he's not supposed to "tell the press" until May but here I am spilling the beans on the blog-- oops!), my cousin Merideth got a great job in Australia and is moving to Sydney in June (actually this is mixed news for me because it will mean she will be moving out of NY just as I move there-- I can't wait to visit her though!), and Larin got an interview for a job at Siena (cross your fingers for her!). |
