Well it’s been a flurry of back to school/new years activity around here: housecleaning, haircuts, job packets sent out for me, the book “Writing Your Dissertation in 15 Minutes a Day” ordered for Larin, the YMCA with childcare joined for all of us. I’m savoring this full week here in Seattle before my commute begins again next week. And what makes it especially savory are the new cookbooks L got—in the few days we’ve been back the menu has included artichoke soup, wasabi sweet potatoes, scallop chowder, and my favorite so far mushroom-cilantro curry. Yum. |
