I like Marx's description of the good working life a lot (hunting in the morning, fishing in the afternoon, criticizing after dinner), but I like the life my friend Maria proposed in an email (in case I happened to get a job nearby her in NY) even more: "We could have a continuous party/conversation/writing collaborations/preparing for classes/listening to music/going to political meetings and many many more things!!!"
